I've been using the Lunasol Modeling Water Liquid Foundation and Control Makeup Base since mid-May and I'm down to 1/3 of the bottles...and I was itching to try a new base makeup that gives light coverage. After much thought, I purchased my first tinted moisturizer, which also happens to be my first item from Laura Mercier.
Today's makeup is light and simple. I started off with the P&J Moisturizing Foundation Primer 03. I've had this for a couple months already and haven't started using it until now. It doesn't have SPF which is a bummer, but the LM makes up for the missing SPF. The P&J primer is a white runny base which goes on clear and doesn't feel sticky.
Then I used my fingers to apply the TM. I'm glad it's runny enough to spread evenly with my fingers and it gives my skin a nice dewy look. This is the first time I've used a TM so I can't compare it with anything else.
I think I love and hate this product at the same time. I love that it gives my skin light coverage but I hate how I get oily faster than using the Lunasol foundation (even with powder).
I debated on getting the oil free version, but some reviews on MUA said it's not as easy to blend and the color seemed to oxidize, so I stuck with the regular formula.
Look, dewy! I generally don't apply a lot of blush which is why you don't really notice the JS blush.

I'm not particularly fond of tinted moisturizers but I have tried bb creams. I like the light coverage but most of the time, I'd rather go bare with sunscreen and regular moisturizer or liquid foundation.
I alos read abt LM tinted moisturizer got oxidized, but I didn't realize it's the oil free formula. I like the dewy finish, seriously been thinking abt LM tinted moisturized for some time now -.-
I tried the LM TM today for the first time...
yeah...not a fan...
Wonder how their mineral foundation is. Their primer I like!
LM TM's performance only got a so-so and most people are like you, couldn't decide whether they like it or not. Thanks for the review yeah.
I like ur hair! its a nice reddish tinge to it! nice messy look to it!!
Hmm, been interested in LM's TM but I guess I'll stick with my powder if it doesn't control oil well. I'd probably have to wear powder anyway lol. Pretty hair!
OOOO love your hair! sadness that it doesn't really control your oil :(
You know? Your eyes looks so huge! So beautiful!
Same here! I get a really bad oily t-zone in within an hr after using LM tinted moisturiser. I think it's too creamy for us oily ladies.
Your hair looks great!
MiuMiu, I love this fresh and simple look on you! Love the instant waves and messy hair too!
I LOVE this hair style!!! Wow, I'll have to look into your simple way of doing this~ My hair is so boring nowadays, haha.
LM tinted moisturizer.. definitely not the most long lasting, but yes it looks dewy! :]
i heart the way your hair looks! nice layers too!
I've been wanting to try that tinted moisturizer!
Does the Kao styling gel last the whole day? I saw it @ Pacific Mall the other day. Now I'm really tempted to get it!
I am such a bb fiend!!! Loving the Lioele water drop right now...super light moist coverage.
Your tresses are gawjuss!!
love ur haircolor!
I love the sound of the Tinted Moisturizer but I'm afraid it wouldn't be enough for my skin. It looks great on you, though! As well as the hair colour - beautiful!
