To Line Or Not To Line?

I'm giving the Lunasol Dazzling Light another chance after the first few failed application attempts.
Something about dark shadows is difficult to get right.
For these two looks, I used a couple brushes to apply, for some reason it came out better than using the sponge applicators. I also blended the white and silver shades together to highlight rather than using them separately.
If you've been reading my blogs for a while already, you might be able to help me, which one suits me more? Lining on the bottom or not lining?

Lined bottom?

Or no lined bottom but with winged liner?

Hmmm...
Next, to use the Paul & Joe 062 duo shadows..the grey variation..and get that right!

I like unline better :D I used to always line my eyes too but I realized it made them look smaller ._. so now I usually dont' line my waterline or only line halfway =)

I like it unlined...
I can never get bottom line right either...it always looks dirty on me...

hmm seems like I'm the one so far who says bottom lined?
Actually, I like both! You should do it like this: line your lashes with black (but no wing or just a minimal), and put that greyish blue/green on your lower lashline too! I'd totally go for it, even tho it's a strong night look >_<"

hmmm...i like both. maybe the winged one for day and the bottom lined one for a more sexy evening look?

I find the new lunasol palette a bit difficult to "apply right" too..haha!
I used to like the eye look without lining the bottom..but now I think lined looks more "finish"? LOL either way you look pretty with the colors!

Darker colors are really more difficult to apply properly, hehe... I prefer the lined version! ;)

I'll get the same palette soon, and hopefully, I won't look too messy with the colors, haha...

i might that palette too ^^ but I'll have to wait until next month...been spending too much =P. I like both versions. for the lined version, if you made the lines thinner and smoked it out more you can get a softer look. ^^

I never line the bottom of my eyes before it juste looks wrong on me. Maybe I have weird eyes -_- But it seems to suit you! Lining the bottom emphazises the eyes while not lining is more natural. It's up to you (=

Ohh! Nice make-up!!
I think you suit both variants! Without lining look you can wear at day time, looks so clear, fresh and open eyes.
And lining along bottom lash line more suit for evening time go out! Kind of more depth look!
I like both linings on you!

unlined it looks better on u that way

Between these two I'd say unlined.. perhaps if you added a more intense black on your waterline in the lined one, it'd look more complete? I really like the color on you tho!!

i like the no lined winged liner. looks gd on ya!

i prefer lining on the bottom
it frames your eyes making you look more focused

but for more natural, i guess unlined?

i think both look nice... bottom lined is suitable for evening outing while unlined is suitable for day outs as it's subtle... it depends on where and when r u gg out.. I have heavy dark circles, if I can't fully conceal them I will not choose to have bottom lined as it will emphasizes more on my dark circles... while bottom lined created sharps and focus look, this looks great when you wish to have more attention... just my 2 cents...

I liked both because they can be used for different looks such as day and night.

I definitely prefer the lined version! But I think we'd have to see a full face pic to tell on you for sure. =P I always line my bottom lid though, because I feel like my eye doesn't look complete without it. Usually I just take the dark color 1/3-1/2 of the way in from the outer corners though, and then highlight the inner corner with white or pale gold or peach. That way my eye doesn't close up.

Lined on the bottom, please! It makes your eyes pop!

No lined bottom but with winged liner.

I prefer the lined bottom it gives greater definition to the eye.

I guess it depends on the occasions.for going out at night I think the lined is good.but for everyday look the unlined is pretty :)

Unlined is much nicer on you! Lined is fine too, but I find that a lot of almond-eyed ladies look best when they don't accent the outer corners. Start in middle, and barely touch outer corner. More definition and separation.

i completely agree w/ fuz's comment. the lined suits for an awesome night/date look with your waterline also lined (woah, too many "lines" in that sentence hahahaha). the unlined is a great natural daytime look :D

Hmm I think lined is good for night, or just the outer 1/3 is fine if for daytime. Unlined is ok too though I think if you made the wing earlier (shorter line overall) it would open up your eyes more? :)

Thanks for organizing the meetup! Unfortunately I have something on Sun and I don't drive so getting there and back easily would be tough in that area... But if you guys are planning to meet up another time someplace closer to TTC I'm definitely up for it :)

You look great with both, but I totally love the winged look. Your eyes look much longer!

Hello,
I prefer lining the bottom as well..but you said you think it looks funny on you..from just looking at the pictures, maybe you could try using just a little bit to line the bottom since it looks like you actually put on a lot..also..try to blend the shadow on the bottom lash line as well..like blend out..that might help. Tell me if you try again, and if you like it better..and post pics. (=
