Boring Weekend + FOTD

Don't forget to enter my contest ^__^ Ends July 19.

I feel so uninspired lately. Not too sure what to do for my blog!!! I've been on a major makeup diet and I haven't bought anything since my last big purchase (Lunasol base makeup).
This weekend was so boring, I didn't do anything exciting. It's that time of the month and I just feel so tired.

I just realized I never talked about the current face wash I got from Hong Kong and I'm almost done using it.
This is supposed to be a makeup remover and cleanser in one. It's a clear gel that's dispensed through a pump. I use 2 pumps for my face and it doesn't foam up. I can't remember how much it was, but I got it at Watsons.

For the test, I used the Lunasol foundation and a Coffret D'or lipstick. I rubbed the gel around a few times then rinsed it away. I don't really like how it doesn't foam as I like foamy cleansers.

As you can see, this face cleanser is complete rubbish. I should have done this test when I first bought it. The foundation was washed off, but not the lipstick. Good thing I use a cleansing oil so all the dirt comes off.

It's been ages since I did an FOTD haha. This eye makeup was inspired by Fuz. I watched her YT video on Taiwanese celebrity makeup. She used the Lunasol Skin Modeling Eyes in Beige Beige and another shade from a Coffret D'or palette and I just did something similar. I have the same Lunasol palette but mine was part of the anniversary set.
Instead of the Coffret D'or shade (which I didn't have), I used the brown shade from the MM Majolook BR742 palette. It's almost at the bottom of the pan!

If you watched the video, Fuz used the MUFE liner and blended the dark shade from the Lunasol palette over it. I did the same thing but I used the P&J liner for this and added a bit of the Lunasol Geminate Liner.
I used the MM mascara base and the Lash Gorgeous Wing. I think I should start using the base more often because it prevents the fibers from falling out and less likely to have racoon eyes. The only thing with this base is, you gotta be careful when applying. Sometimes it can get a bit clumpy.

The finished look is quite washed out. It was gloomy outside so I had to use my nasty indoor light. I really like this finished look. I think it's the most puppy-eyeish that I did even though you might not notice XD

I'm so excited I can't contain it anymore. I'm going to Hong Kong again!! Along with Tokyo for 2 weeks in August. This time I have a more controlled shopping list and budget which focuses on refilling what I ran out of and getting a ton of masks.
I spent waaay too much in February. I'm also excited to get a bunch of clothes because that's when most of the "end of season sale" starts.

I DO love that Lunasol Anniversary Palette on you!

And you know, I think your nose is the cutest! It has an adorable personality and is very distinctive and doesn't make you look like a sterotypical Asian girl!

biore, to me is a crappy brand honestly. their cleansing oil was extremely over drying as well. good thing i just used it to try. i would hate myself if i bought it. fail brand, fail products!
