If you've ever tried threading or waxing I'm sure you know it stings or hurts. I've never tried bleaching so I don't know how that feels. Well rest assured, there is an alternative in removing facial fuzz.
I can't remember where I first saw this neat little gadget, probably in some store in Hong Kong a while back but I never got around in purchasing it.
It's a steel spring facial hair remover which removes hair very similar to the threading method, though I think it doesn't hurt at all.
I got it from Deal Extreme for less than $3 plus free shipping (buy here), so even if it didn't work out, it wasn't a huge waste of money.
Hmm..where to start.. well it definitely works but it takes some practice to get it right. The spring needs to be bent into a U and you twist the handles outwards so the hairs will get trapped in the spring and thus be yanked out. It's not as bad as you think, unless you have sensitive skin. I think it's similar to the feeling of threading but with less pain involved (it may vary from person to person).
As easy as it is to use, I was a bit disappointed that it didn't pull all the fuzz out (but enough was gone), most likely because it's difficult to maneuver around my face. But I can still see this as a worthy investment, for those who don't have time to get waxed/threaded, to get the quick touch ups.
And if you're curious, I tried this on my legs and it hurts. Cleaning is simple, just gently pull the spring apart, spritz some alcohol on and rinse.
The dryer uses 2 AA batteries and it's quite loud, so I wouldn't recommend anyone using this at night
Sorry if you're leaving comments and I'm not replying back, I haven't gotten back into the habit of doing so, but I still enjoy reading them =) Also, I'm quite flattered that so many people are following my blog! I'll definitely need to hold a contest again later this year <3

very interesting! :)
i think i may need to check this out!
interesting! my friend got her face threaded and man, her face turned piiiink! so i've been afraid to do anything like that, hahaha.
I still can't believe that facial hair remover thing is a bona fide invention... like, don't I recall pulling out my arm hair in the same way (accidentally) with one of those cheap chain bracelets? I swear it's the same thing haha!
The Hello Kitty nail dryer - now THAT is what I call an awesome product. ;P
that hair remover sells for approx. $20 here can you believe it? good thing i didnt buy, i would've felt so bad getting ripped off. LOL. i love your kitty dryer! :)

ANOTHER EXCELLENT POST!! What a handy little device.
What a cute dryer!
I don't have enough hair for threading, so maybe this will work for me...
Interesting product! the facial hair remover i think :p I'm pretty coward when it comes to removing facial hair, most of the time I never touched it :p
I have a similar thing (the Epistick) and like it too! Haha I tried it on my leg before too and it really hurts...more than on the face for some reason. I find it removes most of the necessary fuzz and then the few thats left I use tweezers.
That nail dryer looks useful! perhaps I should get one. I always screw up my nails waiting for them to dry. Thanks for the link!
gahh im too scared to use that.. i just use a facial razor instead lol.
cute nail dryer!! I totally need one.. i get so frustrated when it smudges after painting it!
I bought one of those facial hair removers a couple years ago and totally forgot about it. I haven't mastered it yet which is probably why I stopped using it. =S
Awww the Hello Kitty Nail dryer looks so cute!!!
I've got Submerge me and Off with those heads from Cellnique...I like it so far!:)
