I used my RMK JellyxPowder eyes in 05. The SA suggested this color to me because I was looking for a neutral palette that I can use everyday. I was a bit iffy on her suggestion because the jelly part of the palette seemed too red/copper, but I picked it up anyway haha.
I used the Coffret D'or FS eyes in the gold color as a base. The applied the jelly (jelly is on the left) on the lid, followed by the P&J liner. Next, I applied the powder on top, including the liner, and blended it together. I applied the Majolica Majorca liner in BK911 ontop of the P&J liner.
The SA suggested this method for the palette which actually doesn't seem very flattering. I feel that the jelly part appears a bit too coppery for me and it was kind of difficult to blend out the harsh line, which you will notice on the last picture.
Finish off with the MM Las Expander Frame Plus and Fiberwig mascara.
I'm not a huge fan of the MM mascaras, except for the Lash Gorgeous Wing. The comb applicator is difficult to work with and it seems to clump easily for me. The first MM mascara I tried was the Lash Enamel Glamour, which clumped and smudged. I got the newest one anyway just to play around with the wand, I do have to admit that although there were a few clumps, it did a great job at lengthening and volumizing my lashes!
All in all, I still love the RMK palette regardless of the color choice. This was the palette of choice (aside from the Lunasol winter 2008 palette) while I was in HK.
I took these pictures after about 7 hours of wear and look how pigmented it still is! It's got great staying power so I might have to check out some of the other RMK palettes. Both the jelly and powder apply very smoothly.
I was in a bit of a rush this morning so I didn't blend it out properly. You don't notice this when I open my eye anyway =p I'm gonna try Fuz's suggestion of application, in hopes that I don't let a good palette go to waste.
I had dinner with the teachers at my school. So this is what real Korean BBQ is supposed to look like haha...none of that stuff you get in Toronto.
I've never had bacon with this much fat before, it's like meat that's perfectly marbled into the fat! I made a big boo boo and I regret it: I ate at least 2 pieces of those suckers, but damn, they were good.
My fatty pork with half cook garlic(blechh!), doengjang sauce and lettuce in all its glory.
